'Art Nouveau' styled gate with gilded central element.

Gates for a new medical centre in Darlington. The building was originally the headquarters of a prominent Darlington builder, hence the frieze of brickwork at the top and bottom.  The stethescopes and the central heart are symbolic of its new role.

One of two pairs of gates commissioned for a new commercial/residential development.

Made as an exhibition piece, the design of this gate now forms the company logo.

Design developed by Brian Russell from concept by architect Theo Crosby. The structure was made at Little Newsham Forge and motifs taken from Shakespeare's plays were contributed by blacksmiths throughout the world.
